Elastomer Enhancer Create-N5

The new elastomer reinforcing agent, CreateN5, is a product made from naturally occurring silicoaluminate minerals with a flaky crystal structure. It is manufactured through a series of processes including wet ultrafine grinding, spray drying, high-temperature calcination, high-temperature interfacial activation, and surface treatment. The product’s main components are silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide, and its chemical formula is AI. ₂ O ₃ ●nSiO ₂ ●nH ₂ O.

Product Features

Compared to conventional clay, N5 effectively reduces the Mooney viscosity of rubber compounds while causing minimal loss in the hardness of rubber products. In addition to its excellent reinforcing and filling performance—allowing it to replace part of the carbon black or white carbon black either at equal amounts or in increased quantities to reduce costs—it also imparts rubber products with superior low compression set and low dynamic heat generation. Furthermore, N5 endows rubber products with a fine surface texture and facilitates the achievement of a matte finish. It also helps to mitigate color bleeding on the surface of EPDM products and confers excellent resistance to light exposure on the rubber surface.

Create N5 exhibits excellent compounding processability, rapid material uptake, and easy dispersion. The rubber compound has good flow properties and demonstrates outstanding extrusion performance in extruded products. Moreover, its die wear is significantly lower compared to other inorganic fillers.

Product Applications

The new elastomer enhancer, CreateN5, is a purposefully developed product specifically designed for rubber seals used in automotive doors and windows.

Packaging and Storage

The standard packaging uses PP composite valve bags, with a net weight of 20 kg per bag. Additionally, we can provide 500 kg and 1,000 kg packages according to customer requirements. Store in a well-ventilated, cool, and dry place; shelf life is 12 months.
