Detailed introduction
Kalite TH-2 is a low-structure modified carbon black. This product is manufactured through advanced processing steps, including multi-stage impurity removal, ultrafine grinding, air classification, and surface treatment applied to pyrolytic carbon black. The product’s primary component is carbon.
Functions and Uses
▪ It can impart excellent and stable physical and mechanical properties to rubber products.
▪ The compound exhibits excellent resilience, minimal compression deformation, and low heat generation.
▪ Good resistance to aging.
▪ Excellent processability in operations such as mixing, calendering, and extrusion.
▪ Effectively improves the appearance quality of semi-finished and finished products.
▪ Low density can reduce the cost of rubber compounds and offers a high cost-performance advantage.
Usage and Dosage
▪ Applicable to rubber compound formulations for automobile tires, motorcycle tires, and bicycle tires, including tire sidewalls, carcass plies, inner air barriers, and triangular bead fillers.
▪ Suitable for various rubber products such as automotive door and window seals, hoses, conveyor belts, V-belts, and more.
▪ Based on the performance requirements of the formulation, this product can partially replace conventional carbon black grades (such as N550, N660, N774, etc.). As a general guideline, it is recommended to substitute it at 20-40% of the original carbon black dosage, either at an equal amount or with an increase of 30-40%.
Packaging and Storage
The standard packaging uses kraft paper composite bags with a net weight of 20 kg per bag. We can also provide 400 kg space bags upon customer request. Store in a cool, dry place.
Safety Information
The product fully complies with the RoHS regulations.
